Our Parish

The Antiochian Orthodox Church of the Redeemer, founded in 1962 in Los Altos Hills, California, is a spiritual home for Orthodox Christianity in the Silicon Valley. Our mission is to preserve, practice, and proclaim the Gospel of our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ, so that God may be glorified in our parish and throughout the wider community. We live the fullness of the Orthodox faith through worship, fellowship, and service, under the jurisdiction of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America.

Our parish is home to a vibrant community of about 200 families, including those new to Orthodoxy and those of Orthodox Christian heritage, united in living the faith as it has been handed down through the apostles.

Services are primarily in English, with portions—such as the Epistle and Gospel—read in both English and Arabic. We participate fully in the liturgical life of the Church through Divine Services, church school, youth camps, fundraisers, fellowship activities, and retreats. Together we pray, fast, and celebrate the feasts, striving always to live our life in Christ.
